March 22, 2016 - So it begins!

We are so excited to get this garage started - first of all Abigail and her mother were out there last night and thought they might like to help get this started but they only took pics. 

Now this morning Ragland delivered a portable toilet to the land and they are getting started.  They say it should take 4 days.  Yippee - Looking forward to the final product.

Finally - the materials for the garage are delivered!

 Thank you to Ragland builders for delivering our materials for our garage.  Looking forward to it being constructed. 

Our next phase of our house building.  The materials for the garage were delivered this morning and next week hopefully will get the garage built and we can move to the next phase.  Getting exciting out there.  Thanks honey for taking the pics.

We are so excited to get this part done.  Now will be anxiously awaiting the actual building of the garage which should be towards the end of February!

It is finally happening!

Yesterday, November 24, 2015 we got the footings dug at the land.  We are finally getting our garage started. 

Ed and I are both excited about the progress!

Looks like Ed and Ben decided to just sit on the equipment - they didn't do any digging. 

2015 is going too fast!

This is the year that we were going to get our garage and water out at the land but unfortunately we weren't able to get that accomplished yet.  Ed's dad was told in April 2015 that he only had 6-8 months to live and we lost him in June of 2015.  So his dad won't be able to enjoy our joy in building our house.

RIP Dad! We miss you but know that you will be watching over us! Love you!













So we have been tending to his dad's affairs and Ed and Josh were able to build a 10x10 shed at the land and just got it finished this month of September.  They did a great job!

Of course they did have the help of our grandson Benjamin.  GOOD JOB GUYS!















During the time of the getting the shed done we were able to get rock out to the land to have as a base for our garage floor. 

Now we are getting ready to get the footings and concrete poured and then hopefully will be able to get the garage built before the end of the year.
