2/5/17 - So far so good!

Pictures taken on February 5, 2017.  Things are looking better but still don't have water. 

FINALLY!!! - We have water at the house.

 We finally got our water on Wednesday, March 1, 2017!

Now we can start moving in. 

1/21/17 - Finally getting the water line extended

 FINALLY - the City of Athens has started trenching and bringing the water line down the hill.  Hopefully if won't take too long to get the water back to our house. 

We have to let the line sit for a week, then it needs to be flushed for a week, then the EPA has to test the water.  I wonder how long that will take. 

At least we are almost to getting water.  We have only been waiting since July 2016.

STILL WAITING FOR CITY WATER

I know that I haven't posted anything for a while and that is because there really isn't anything to post.  We are kind of at a stand still waiting for the City of Athens to trench in a fire hydrant at the end of the road so we can hook up and have city water.  We have been waiting for awhile now.  I will be glad when they will get it done and we can have water and get moved in to our new house.  I will post more later. 

December 2, 2016 - Lot's of things happened today.

Thanks to Janssen concrete for all of their hard work putting in the front porch.  It looks great!

 

Ed started out at the house with the Woodrum's to put the septic tank in and Albert to put the water line in.

Looks like hard work to me!

Then Albert started digging the water line. 

Both the septic and water line took all day and into the weekend. 

Everyone worked hard.  Thank you to Ron and James Woodrum and Albert Hoheimer for all of their equipment and help.

A special thanks to my husband Ed for all of his hard work.  We are not as young as we used to be but he just keeps on going.  Love you honey!

Time for the house delivery - FINALLY!!!!

November 22, 2016 - what a wonderful day - finally got the house delivered!

Ben even helped with the delivery!  Thanks to all who where there with us to see this wonderful transformation!
